Hey up Cat :o) When you have time (as I know you are a very very busy man) could you please check out this new members images, they seem to have a problem displaying on the site, despite appearing to be in a supported format (jpeg, resolution...). When I checked the original files, they downloaded okay and I could see what they were meant to be.. so it's completely stumped me! http://jennytheoreo.tailcast.com/ Cheers you Technological wizard you! :o)

Catalin - Does friending C.King Jennings and not being accepted a matter of her privacy settings, needing a manual response, or the problem described below? There's not an icon to send a private message on her profile page and I'm not sure if that's a settings-thing.

I think its maybe because they already invited me and I didn't notice it. Just looked in the mailbox and accepted it, now we're friends :) So, maybe a minor coding thing, I dunno :)

Hi Catalin. I owe you an apology re adding images by browse. When I wanted to upload my caption challenge (for instance) I added it through community. I figured since there would be words and images I had to add it through publish article and and since there was an icon to upload images I figured I was doing it the right way, yet it only allowed images by html link. So I didn't even notice/pay attention to the icon next to article to publish images and that's the way I now realize was the way to do it. So I'm sorry for bugging you about it. I can be pretty stupid sometimes. Er, more than sometimes. sigh. Sincere apologies.

Hi Hyla, We are now working on a system that will let you manage your friend requests directly from tailcast, without the need of emails. But before we finish it we will manualy update the friend requests from time to time. You and niqua are friends now.

tried a couple more times re friending Niqua. Still no luck. It's really turning me off greeting new members because I always friend them to be add to the welcoming atmosphere(!) but that just ends up being a pain because it never works. :( Please help! :)

Buna Catalin. Sunt din Romania si locuiesc in Gibraltar din martie 2008. Am accesat site-ul vostru si datorita lui Pete am avut placuta surpriza sa aflu ca "tipul cu partea tehnica" e din Romania. Good job, well done ! Mult succes si poate ne si intalnim intr-o zi in Gib( nu prea sunt romani pe aici, in curand o sa fiu ca Raducioiu, care uitase sa vorbeasca romaneste dupa 3 luni in Italia, lol...).Sunt noua pe aici, inca nu mi-am dezvoltat "talentele" si nu am avut timp sa intru in contact cu lumea, dar cat am vazut mi s-a parut interesant, probabil ca o sa petrec o groaza de timp explorand. well, doesn't make sense that it's forbidden then! What's hot-linking and why can't we upload images via browse since I can cut and paste to my computer?

OK! your "old-fashioned" link takes me to a page that says "forbidden". And I have no idea what hot-linking is. Always assume I know nothing. Why doesn't cut and paste work? I was able to save the image to my computer.

the image url is: http://www.altfg.com/Stars/o/old-fashioned-way.jpg because www.altfg.com doesn't allow hot-linking, you can't use this image. please choose an image from a server that allows hot-linking

Hi Catalin. I just posted something in community with a picture - "write a caption" - but it's hard to cut and paste in and it doesn't stay. I've re-posted it three times I(though the image in my first caption challenge is staying just fine). Why can't we just add images the 'browse' way like we do to add the cover art? I don't get adding the URL for an image at all. I tried but no luck. Does it have to be from my own page? (which I don't have) I tried it as the only image on an html page and still nothing. I asked you about this problem (images disappearing) in early October too but you never got back to me. thanks.

Hi Catalin - Firefox problem sorted - was the Tailcast Cookie which expired 1911 strange that - real easy - Will just have to check. So no need to update all my System and Browser - Just watch my back !

Same problem with a new member - Gone Johnson. He said he didn't receive a friend request from me. Why does this keep happenning?

Hi Catalin. Just been recomened by Milas to yoou as you are the tech guy lol. I have yet another problem ;( people can not accept me when i add them as a friend, nor can they add me I've tried in different computers but it doesn't seem to work. Can you help please. Thank you.^^,)
