Hello there Tailcastians. I would like to direct your attention to one of our newest members, Vladan Nedeljkov. Yeah, he's a newbie, but don't hold it against him; it's not his fault. He's come all the way from Serbia for an opportunity to mingle amongst Tailcast's community of talented artists.

"Vladan, quit tipping your hat, they can't see you."

My attempt at prodding Vladan to upload more of his work failed miserably, as I was quickly chastised. It is true, I tell ya! His rather pointed reply included the phrase "Don't ask me to upload any more pieces, it's annoying." Guess he told me. What is a girl to do when scorned? Well... after much pondering [okay, little to none], revenge was the only thing that sprung to mind.

Also, he has made it known that he does not like promoting himself. Which brings me to the reason for this blog. After deciding revenge was in order, I then needed a means of carrying it out. I thought... hmmm... what better way to avenge friend or foe [in this case, friend] than to take his rather shy nature and spotlight it! Yes, you will quickly come to know Vladan for the humble young man he is. He seeks no glory. But as you well know in this business... no glory, no gain. Here you have it, I've set the stage and I now give to you, Vladan Nedeljkov!

Vladan Nedeljkov was born and raised in Serbia, and presently resides and works in Belgrade. He has completed elemental Music School, high Music School and the Music Academy for classic guitar. His accomplishments comprise composing for documentaries, shorts and television serials. Nah, he's not a serial killer.

"Right, Vladan?"

Dr. Ana Isabel Ordonez had this to say in her review of Vladan Nedeljkov's contemporary jazz style CD Link Fundus... released in 2006.

Fundus [meaning, basic fundamental] is the first part of a trilogy. It's one piece compiling seven parts [like a symphony in modern shape]. It's a story about the creation of entity, living, dying and excelling to a higher level of existence. While he and I have conversed on this subject matter and agreed to disagree... his compositions are of a calming nature and well worth a visit. A few productions for which Vladan Nedljkov has composed pieces, include--but not limited to--the three I've posted below. I highly recommend you go and have a listen.

Archeological Excavations 1 -- Roman Frescopaitings of Viminacium [miracle]. Filmed on location in Drmno Kostolac-Serbia. Directed by Predrag Djurdjic. With production and sound mix by Vladan's girlfriend, Aleksandra Stojanovic.

Danube 1 -- The Danube River filmed on location in Groka Serbia. Also directed by Predrag Djurdjic. With production and sound mix by Aleksandra Stojanovic.

Archeological Excavations 4 -- Secret of Imperators Death in Viminacium. Filmed on location in Kostolac, Serbia. Also directed by Predrag Djurdjic. With production and sound mix by Aleksandra Stojanovic.

In addition to the above, Vladan works with his girlfriend as a Foley Artist on movies, collaborating with Concept Films. He is an Elemental Music Professor and teaches guitar lessons to children as well as giving private lessons to kids showing signs of extraordinary talent. Lest I neglect to mention his drawing and painting ability, you can sample it here. And he sings ta boot! Um, the frog croaking at the end... yeah, that's not him. Or so he says.
