- Cotton Wool Dreams
Nothing compares to the look in your eyes
When they meet mine;
Not one ounce of pain could ever be bred
From those lips of yours.
It's a shame they are no such things as fairies,
To reward your kindness;
And the world is mistaken in thinking that Heaven
Belongs in the stars -
It is you.
For I have met the love of my life
In my dreams,
And you will remain there, to cushion my life,
As long as I please.

Wow. Dreams are kinder than reality. I know exactly how you feel.
