Thanks - my ass appreciates the 'recogntiion and praise' - I am sure you have a really nice ass too - but it's too damn cold to read in the nude @ the moment !
i didn't think it was a planetary issue - just quipping the quote - sorry if I do go on and on . . . zzzzzzz . . . but thanks for the paycheck - gettng it on sounds great !
Adverts swaying back and forth between truth and reality nary reaching a point where they can be claimed as out right false. My electronic reader needs a cover b/c "it's dangerous to read nude". No it's not. Not for me or my reader.
Point is, my dear, NEVER take me seriously unless there are tears pouring from my eyes, and actually, almost especially not then. ;)
This is not some Mars/Venus issue... simply a matter of preference. I don't give two flying J's about money, and to be honest if my lover was rendered useless, I'd be fine to go without, but I would always want credit for the work I did as a human. Nobody wants to go through life unseen, and in some ways are sex and money not both forms of recognition and praise ;) Job well done, here's your paycheck. Nice ass, let's get it on. :)
So, yes... you are right, but you're not covering all the gray ;) Oh, and I hate cosmetics. :)
Much love darlin', Much!
Ha! Oh, I wouldn't know where to start to look in Ol' Tony's direction. I tend to keep my mouth shut when I have no idea what's the subject is. I hear ya brutha. :)
I think Mary was probably writing for women . . . since she was Head of a Multi Level Marketing company (Cosmetics) ... ( and a successful writer ). . . it is not you being stupid or needing to apologize . . . these kind of 'generalizations' - are now called 'PR Spin' - it's actually a very clever peice of psychology - knowing that women will notice "sex & money" - but seldom admit too openly they are a priority - also that many women (particularly married with children) most likely feel ( quite rightly ) they deserve more recognition. So the end conclusion is for a good slice of the female populace "this person understands me and what I want" - quite a hook to get more recruits to sell cosmetics - and it has worked for over 40 years.
Men smarter (?) no way - realized along time ago I had been duped - look at the Music Industry . . . the manufacturing of Music equipment way exceeds the importance of music - so the whole "sex and drugs and rock'n'roll" PR is a really good way to get idiots like me as a teenager to buy a guitar and an amp and spend my time trying to be a 'star'. It is why the Car industry advertised the latest Car with bikini clad models on the bonnet. So yes just a bit more basic.
Clever one liners are the building blocks for comedians, politicians and marketeers.

I'll take praise and recognition. Sex just lowers self esteem. Plus the love of money is the root of all evil. Look at Tony Blair.

I suppose ol' MaryKay shoulda said "most people" then :D Stupid generalizations, I apologize.

but none of the former are as good when you purchase them.... always best when freely given ;)
