- Remembering Reality
Remembering how he watched me
As he spoke
And remembering
Delight in him
At seeing defenses broken.
I remember
How his victory
Made me feel
The moment I was vulnerable
And real.
Remembering how he watched me
As he spoke
And remembering
Delight in him
At seeing defenses broken.
I remember
How his victory
Made me feel
The moment I was vulnerable
And real.

I think moments resurface if we need to more fully allow ourselves the experience (sometimes difficult in the moment itself) or when we can grow from them again...today is one of the latter

Yes, straight to the point with the rhyme at the end giving extra punch.

Often times these moments are so easy to crawl right back into. Slipping back in time and avoiding reality after all. Other times when you want to you almost can't get back there, you can't slip past the ticking clock and remember the beauty of a moment as if you are in that moment all over again. Ahhhh.... I love this one!

I've read this a couple of times today. Sweet - in a totally non saccharine way.

this one gets to where it is going in a hurry and really packs a punch, Sis....well done! Great line breaks.
