- Stained Sunlight
I curse feeling, the loneliest chagrin
Nothing can ever hurt like wrods
I fill my pockets with stones
and walk to the last cascade of...
No one ever wants to feel vunerable
A flower never thrives in shadow
I don't envy any weakness
Anything ignored is not a lie
Beaten, calloused hands try to embrace
in stained sunlight
I never wanted to let anyone down
but cancerous lies stole the meaning
I'm so tired but I can't seem to fall asleep
Early hours pass before my eyes
So yellowed and drained

Drained, stolen, but still going. I adore this one a great deal!

Reminds me of a cigarette. Perhaps I should not leave comments when trying to quit smoking. Sorry. I love these raw things from you Benj. I reeeeeally do!
