No way - you have to write something FOR the challenge! That's what makes it fun. Plus, who knows what topic you'll get. Like I wrote you, it can be something short. Hey, even haiku will do! Dust off your old poems and post 'em through the writing section. :)

Fun writing challenge! If you haven’t participated before or never written a poem, please don’t let that deter. Your poem could be short, could be long. Anything goes! This group got me to write my first poem EVER (otherwise known as ‘since third grade’.]

Thank you for reading through my Harmony piece, Glen. I appreciate your gracious comment; I shall return to browse through your works upon getting myself organized.

Have a pleasant day.

I think of myself as a technomoron so you are in good company! lol At the top right, next to the site description, you'll see a little icon with three (or four) little people in different colours. There is a yellow plus sign on them (the plus sign is pretty small). Just click on that and that's how you join. :)

Hey are you going to join our group: The Sad, the Mad and the Lost? Please?:
http://www.tailcast.com/group-the-sad-the-mad-and-the-lost-91.html What have you missed, hmmmmmm.... Sandy and John K had cybersex, reekfeel's been insulting me (but it's kind of fun actually), Sandy insulted me, and some fucking sadistic freakshow just joined... you know, the usual! lol Weekend writing challenge (for the aforementioned group):
theme - silly (silliness, being silly, senility. oh wait, not senility) :) you can check out the threads from the first challenge: 'on the house'. Play catch-up if you like! :)

Hi Glen, so Cat got in touch about the problem with publishing? sorry about that I thought he was going to contact you earlier this week. Trying to think of ways to make it easier in the future for people to publish here and on wordpress or blogger....will keep you posted. Glad to be able to feature something of yours :)

Hey you should definitely weigh in on Pete's post about duality (hence the parallel universe comment). He wants it to be a discussion:
http://www.tailcast.com/article-some-thoughts-on-duality-19464.html?coming=recent-161

I never watch Nova; I just happened to notice what that episode was about and it caught my attention - and I'm so glad! Next week's sounds interesting too: Hunting the Hidden Dimension. I've watched a couple of episodes on tv of something called "Beautiful Minds" on savants. It's incredibly fascinating (I can't emphasize enough)! One of the academics featured is Allan Snyder from Melbourne; you can check out his website: centreforthemind.com I just went to it to see if there's anything interesting on it and there are links such as to an article in "New Scientist", Oct. 2008: http://www.centreforthemind.com/newsmedia/NSArticle%20041008.pdf (haven't read it since I just found it but I'm sure it's interesting!). Thanks for the books tips. I'm not a great reader (I'm ashamed to admit) - I have extremely bad concentration and retention - especially when reading something long and complex. It would be lost on me. tv is a better medium.
