Thanks for the lovely comment on "Gerard Inspired" Jack! :)
They are about 24x20" each, I'm not sure wether they should be displayed so close together or not..hmmm. Though it would be a cool idea to seperate them a bit and imply other stuff happening between them :D
Hi Jack, think he would mind you creating a profile for him? if you get his consent then you could do that and add his work under a different new account set up just for him. whaddya think?
That's the guy. I have to thank you for tagging R Crumb in your 'abouts", because it reminded me to call Denny. We've been brothers since high school, and at one time I had collected everything he ever produced. Then I gave to a ne'er-do-well relative, wanna-be artist, and I wish I had it back. Anyway, He has a lot of stuff out, and some is still available. the "must-have" is the bound book of his "Real Stuff" comix, which nobody believes is biographical, and its just as well. His is a storied life, Denny's. I could go on and on, but he is always on the lookout for artists to illustrate one of his tales. I was surprised to learn that he hasn't ever looked at anything on YouTube, despite having it at his fingertips. He said he couldn't think of anything he wanted to see. I said "How about Rahsaan Roland Kirk-bet you haven't seen that". "I've seen him live, in fact he was playing right at my elbow when I was the coke chopper at [insert notorious Seattle nightclub name]"
Maybe you'd like to illustrate that one? It would work.
Glad you like the glass. I'm going to post pictures of the Dennis DeFoggi paintings I own soon. I think I'll offer a cash prize to anyone who can correctly describe the basic technique used to make them. I promise it'll surprise you.
Do you mean the comics artist? I googled him in response to your comment. I wasn't aware of him, but I'd like to see some of his work. Your stained glass is beautiful.
It is of both help and interest, thanks. I don't have final cut pro, but my son uses it. I guess you and he are in about the same business. He is camcord@large in Bellingham WA in the US. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
