JESS BOTTLES! I miss you!!!!!!
Tailcast isn't sending me any email notifications for some reason, so if you reply post on my page so I can check back and not miss it!!!!
hey Jess hope you have a great trip and fantastic time in the Canary Islands...that's very good advice from Mary for your flight over and I second all of that...just soak up the atmosphere and the feelings and the sights and sounds of every second of your trip and take those memories back with you to relive again and again...remember your adventure starts the moment you leave home...have a great time my friend!
hehe you're very welcome. i'm glad i could help :)
maybe just a little advice, which i forgot before: i personally don't like the headphones they provide us with, but always take my own ones with me. (from my ipod). and definitely don't wear tight jeans or complicated shoes, cause travelling in trainers is much more comfortable. what else... if you get a stiff back/neck easily, bring one of those travel pillows with you http://www.chiroeco.tensnet.net/images/travel_pillow.jpg -> they do wonders :D
that's basically it i think... maybe buy a bottle of water and a snack in the duty free shops after checking in, cause even tho they do provide you with great food and you can ask for more water, it's easier to have it with you. and if you prefer reading than watching movies, bring a book or magazine.
soo that's definitely it, i'm sure it will go great :) have fun in madrid and on the canary isles (so jealous, haha). and have a safe flight :)
Thanks Mary! That's the sweetest most helpful help ever!! Thank you so much!! Wow i knew you would know how it it really is! Thank you so much. Okay i am feeling good about this flight then, sounds like it could be fun even! Good good. Have a great new year Mary. Bless you bless you.. :D Jess
Oh itinerary... P.S. Baltimore, Chicago, MADRID, La Palma Canary isles!
Hey Jess :) thank you very much! i do love all my pics from aussie, they bear so many memories :)
aww, there's no need to be worried! where are you heading to? it's probably compareable to my flight from switzerland to new york i guess. 10h of flying. first off, i LOVE flying, so it's never a problem. especially not on long flights, because the planes are really well equiped. you have a tv infront of you with a joystick/remote, so you can play games, watch the newest movies, watch old movies, tv channels, listen to music etc. the cabin crew members are always nice (well, it's their job :D) and whenever you should need something (a bit more water, a second sheet to cover your legs) you can just ask them and they'll help you. there's no need to be freaking out you see :) and if you're scared of crashing - it's more possible that you will get run over on a street than crash with a plane! and you mentioned the same people - on my flight back from aussie, i had this greek man sitting next to me and it was so much fun talking to him, finding out about where he was, why he was there, where he's headed to now - so many things to talk about. and if you just wanna sleep instead of talk, just tell them you're gonna rest for a bit - nobody will mind. if the person next to you is a jerk/smells/snores - there's always a free seat somewhere else and you can just ask a flight attendant and she'll help you change the seats, that's no problem at all :) so you see - no reason to be nervous! just think about all the amazing stuff you will experience when you arrive at your destination!! i wish you so much fun on your trip :)
