Oh sorry, thought I put it in there. I'm pretty sure it's in C, but the main melody is actually a loop I found so I'm not certain. It might be in A minor. The BPM is 96. And you can do whatever you want to it, if you want just a sample of one part or anything just tell me and I'll whip it up right away. If you want the chorus to come first or don't like the way something sounds just tell me. I'll move around the parts myself before we'd release it if needed be anyways. But feel free to do whatever to it.

I can wait for the CD, albeit not very patiently. I didn't know you guys were in different countries; that obviously poses some problems. But the music is stuff I anticipate listening to for hours on end while I paint. With me, if there's no music, there's no painting. I'm delighted I have a shot to do cover art for elora dannon! I always work from color photographs, so when the time comes, if you decide to use me, just send me photographs of the two of you, and compose the photo any way you want. As long as its in sharp focus and the images are large enough, I can paint just about anything.

many thanks, ben... of course, subpop are a classic label, and have housed many top acts... as for your cd, i'm afraid you'll have to wait, unless tommy can rustle up some of our previous compilations... it's proving quite time consuming to put together an album while in different countries... and we still haven't settled on artwork for the current work-in-progress, so you may find a commission coming your way...

They're the small record label that Nirvana started out with. http://www.subpop.com/about I don't know if they work with acts outside the Seattle area, but you might find it interesting. I want my elora dannon CD right freakin' now. I'd love to paint an album cover for you guys one day.

thanks a lot for all your comments, ben... we have compiled a few cds, although i wouldn't describe any of them as being out... we're currently working on our latest material, and published versions of some of the tracks, including shadow of doubt... when we've finished, we'll send you a copy...

'Thanks for the great comment on my painting! "Shadow of Doubt" is the only song on my audio player on my page as of now, because it's a great song! I tried to figure out how to have it spontaneously play as soon as anyone navigates to my page, instead of having to click it, but I couldn't. Do you guys have a CD out? I always listen to music while I paint, and your stuff would be great "painting music"!

i did wonder whether the formatting was intentional... i've had the same problems with the few writings i've published... but sometimes those unintentional faults can provide intriguing results...

Thanks Mr S. Actually the formatting wasn't right! You know sometimes on this site, the spacing comes out wrong when you copy and paste (a very minor fault, it's a good site). At least it does with me. This is one I wrote years ago. It's had occasional outings in small press mags etc but not this site before.

He's disappeared before, though I don't think he deleted his account. I recently disappeared for two months (as Edro knows) and the lack of commenting was probably my main beef (I don't remember exactly), but I've bellyached about the groups for ages and suggested ways to get new people to feel welcome and learn about the site but until the shop gets going the cast is too busy to work on those things. oh well. Anyway, after my two months I decided I'd come back as Lighthearted Hyla and not worry about any of that. Well, until I read MM's post and replied and then read his reply to me... I only have so much/little control over site stuff and I've really tried. I had to stop trying for my own mental health, though I do plan, at some point, on doing some kind of "Interact on tailcast" post. In a friendly way. :-)
