My Name is Rob. I am a singer songwriter, musician, recording enthusiast, amateur photographer, basically a driven artist... It is what makes me tick. I have been playing guitar and writing songs for about 30yrs. I also play mandolin a little and drums and just about anything that I get my hands on. Anyway, I pretty much just play out of necessity and the love of it .... I also collect guitars now obsessively. I have 18 now but I am sure that I need more....I am compelled to play at least a little everyday or I feel like crap...I also love 4 wheeling and taking pictures and camping in the Arizona desert...I am also at times possesed, called, or chosen to do things that seem to come out of nowhere... and generally when I am done... and I step back and look at what I have been compelled to do....it is beautiful...&...amazing...

Thank you so much for all of your lovely comments! I appreciate them more than words can say. It's good to have you back! I have a heavy work load for the next few days but I can not wait to delve back into the things you've posted since your return that I've not yet had the pleasure of digging into. *hugs*

the ticky tacky is unavoidable, it's what we do with it that counts. ;)
juniperlillie on Apr 13, 2010, 10:33 pm
As one who loves nothing more than to veer off course and get lost in the backwoods to find herself sharing homemade wine with strangers.... I tell you now that *MY* gps is as far from ticky tacky as it gets. Home is where the heart is and mine swallows up the world... So with that I say, welcome home.
juniperlillie on Apr 13, 2010, 10:12 pm
Second star to the right my dear and straight on til' morning! If you lose your direction again, I offer you use of my gps. ;)

y'know. Some might see that tree and assume it's near Christmastime. Then again, my Ma set out a Christmas tree all year one year. She figured that sometimes folks deserve that. Not the presents. Just the feeling you get with the thing up.

Oh, and you can also spotlight one piece of content on your page, whether it's your own work or that of another member. Just go to the piece of content you wish to spotlight and click the lamp icon to the right (round and black). This will help make your page a bit more soulful in the meantime!

The problem with the ning platform is any technical issues had to be reported to their tech team, and we were restricted with where we could take things. Over the coming weeks you will see vast improvements on here, and will be able to design your own page designs, as well as allow others to use the ones you have created (if you choose) as another means of promoting your work. Have you had a chance to look at all the new categories? Although this may be different from the ning, it allows you to browse in a number of ways, as where the ning only allowed you to view all content. As a musician I would have thought you'd like the new genre categories, and the ability to write articles about a piece of music. We will soon be launching the ability to display album/single/EP artwork on your tracks. Bare with us, and feel free to make your suggestions on features that you'd like to see in the 'demos' section in the right hand column. We'll prioritise the changes that get most votes :)

Fingercheese. Yup, that's what I use to eat cheese with. M'fingers. Can't beat a good grip on a fine, aged velveeta cheese. (?)
